Sock It To Me!

Thanks to my barber and favourite socks plug (@FashionBarberJA) , I have apparently taken those words to heart. I almost never leave his shop without a new pair or two.

I have long since been a big fan of socks, I went through the coloured ankle socks, the funky toe socks, the high top socks and the argyle socks phase. I’ve done it all and I’m still doing it. Since summer is great time to up your style game and since socks are definitely a part of my style, I thought I should share a few of my favorite pairs and a few I am super excited to wear. After all, #SocksFiDiSummer.

Disclaimer - When it comes to socks, I prefer to go bold which means bright prints, cartoon characters and cool patterns. I usually wear my socks with shorts or dresses to add another fun element to my outfit instead of hiding them under pants. These are therefore the farthest thing from subtle but keep in mind that there is a sock for everyone so you just have to find the styles that work for you.

Socks are a great way to add some visual interest to an outfit and are just a fun quirky way to accessorize. I have loved seeing the insurgence of cool socks. They really do add some vibes to an otherwise plain outfit.

I am still trying to find the right pair of sneakers to really elevate my socks game, I think something sleek and white would do the trick but until I do, here’s a few pairs that I am looking forward to rocking this summer!
